Analog Elements is a sound kit created using only the best synths, pedals and tape to build a catalogue of sounds that producers can use to give their beats that "analog" flavour.

 

Inside you'll find the usual categories of sounds but also a new type of folder we have never tried before. We called this one "tape sounds" and thats exactly what it is. We took all our favourite sounds from the kit and ran them through a 70's tape machine at various speeds, producing some very unique and special sounds you can try.

 

In total there is over 700 brand new sounds to explore!

THE GEAR BEHIND "ANALOG ELEMENTS"

MOOG ONE SYNTH ($10,000)

The ultimate modern poly synth from Moog was the foundation for creating this kit. Almost every sound started life here and was then processed through the following outboard gear.

Blooper, Thermae, Harmonist, Plasma & Mobius pedals ($2,500)

The pedal chain we created for this kit looks like this. Utilising the crazy delays from the Thermae and thick distortion from the Plasma to take the sounds from the Moog to the next level.

70's Sony Tape Machine ($400)

To create the bonus tape sounds we ran all the sounds we created through this 50+ year old tape machine. By playing with the various tape speed settings we achieved a variety of unqiue versions of our existing sounds.

Akai MPC 2000XL ($1000)

We used the MPC and its crazy 16bit crunch to process and create the percussion loops inside Analog Elements, for the icing on the cake of this crazy sound kit.
